COVID - 19 Updated Office Policy

​

The following safety measures are being implemented in the office

​

  • Sanitization of the furniture, door knobs and office supplies between sessions

  • 15 to 30-minute gaps between sessions

  • UV filtration for anti-viral air protection

  • 2-meter distance between seating areas

  • Hand sanitizer is supplied

  • Facial tissue is supplied

  • Bottled water is supplied

  • Foot-pressed garbage disposal is available

  • SandTray option is limited to one client per day to allow proper sanitization

 

Clients safety policies

  • Please wait outside or in the car if arriving earlier than 5 minutes before the session.

  • Masks are optional (bring your favourite:). We provide if needed.

Number Of Sessions

Generally I see people for 5 to 10 sessions. The goal is to help clients to resolve their concerns in the fastest manner possible. At times, however, depending on the severity of the symptoms and concerns, the therapy can be extended until the desired outcome is achieved.

Insurance Coverage

Your workplace Extended Health Benefits may cover the cost of counselling provided by a Registered Counsellor. Please consult with your Insurance Company Provider or with your Human Resource Department to verify your coverage prior booking the first session. Receipts not submitted for insurance claims may be tax deductible under medical expenses.

Payment Methods

The following methods of payments are accepted:

  • E-transfer

  • Cheque

  • Cash

The payment is generally due within the 5 business days of the appointment.​

​

Sessions are generally billed to the clients.

 

Sessions through EAP, Victim Services and other private contracts are billed directly to the EAP/contract providers.

Additional Reports

Any additional session notes, reports, insurance statements are billed at a regular hourly rate.

Please note that you are welcome and encouraged to take as many session notes as you'd like.

​

Late Cancellations

Please allow 48 hours to rebook or cancel the appointment.  

 

Missed appointments and late cancellations are billed at $100 per session.

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to introduce our services to you. Wix.com adheres to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of your information by our company and its service providers.

If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition or asset sale, clients' personal data may be transferred. We will provide notice before any personal data is transferred and becomes subject to a different Privacy Policy.
